About Us

Canterra Suites Hotel has 44, one, two and three bedroom apartments. Each suite is tastefully furnished. Our beautiful 4 appliance kitchens are equipped with the things you will require for cooking. You will have your own washer and dryer in the suite so you can do your own laundry on your own schedule. The building is quiet, and secure. There is both indoor and outdoor parking available (charges apply).

We have been a non smoking hotel since 2003

Your important documents will be secure in a safety deposit box.

Housekeeping services are provided for each suite.  A dry cleaner offers same day service, Monday to Friday.

At Canterra we hope your stay will seem all too short!

Our Staff works to make your stay satisfying but we are also active in our community.

Throughout the year the staff at Canterra is actively involved with several organizations within the city:
Annually we put teams in the Super Walk for Parkinson and the Special Olympics Bowling. We also support Amity House, The Stollery Children’s Hospital, Rosedale Seniors Home, Easter Seals, The Tourette Society The Canadian Diabetes Foundation, The Canadian Cancer Society, Movember (prostrate cancer), Autism Society, and the Sun Christmas Charity. We also support the Oilers and the Capitals in sending schools to games.

Note of Recomendation:

I wanted to thank the staff at Canterra Suites for providing me with a home away from home.  I recently encountered some trouble with my transportation mode between Calgary and Edmonton, and the staff at Canterra Suites advocated on my behalf without even me having to ask for support.

I live in Calgary but work in Edmonton and find the staff at Canterra Suites always cheerful, happy to help, and friendly even when encountering their own crises such as being overwhelmed with city events.  In addition to offering excellent customer support, this new family I have acquired in Edmonton, has also impressed me with their community activism and support.  I stay in Edmonton weekly and virtually every time I visit Canterra Suites, they are fundraising yet for another community event or social support agency.

I am also impressed by the fact that for the same rate of a hotel room, I am able to have access to an office, kitchen, fireplace and all the amenities that I would expect in my own home in Calgary.  I want to thank the staff at Canterra Suites for exceptional service and would recommend your establishment to anyone traveling to Edmonton.  Thank you for your support and advocating for me during some of my most difficult moments.
