Tomorrow kicks off a run of Chicago at the Mayfield Theatre, on the 19th Edmonton welcoms Johnny Reid at Rexall, and starting on the 21st The Sound of Music will be playing at the Citadel. It certainly looks like a musical week in Edmonton! Also, don't miss the Harlem Globe Trotters at Edmonton Expo Centre on the 18th for some basketball action.

Well, it is Easter and Passover weekend. Accordingly, The Edmonton Valley Zoo is having a Hop to It special event on Monday. Guests will be able to visit a petting zoo with baby bunnies and little chicks. Additionally, crafts and other activities will be available for young and old.
April 14th brings the 2nd Annual Volunteer fair at West Edmonton Mall. Maybe reassign some of that holiday cheer into helping out your community.
And last but not least, it is a holiday weekend! All of us at Canterra would like to wish you all the best and hope that you enjoy time spent with friends and family.

Next weekend, Edmonton welcome's David Foley from Kids in the Hall fame to Yuk Yuks! Friday and Saturday night only, be sure to catch 'em!
Also, next week the Citadel will be kicking off a run of A Midsummer Night's Dream. It will playing from the 7th till the 29th. Don't miss this classic!
Last but not least, today is April Fools', Saturday is Passover, and Monday is Easter! We have quite the eventful week ahead of us. Enjoy!!

The Edmonton Motorshow kicks off on March 1st! From the car clinics to auctions, from Ford to Ferrari; all things automotive will be on display. Conviently located just a few LRT stops away from Canterra.
Also this week, Michael Flately's Lord of the Dance will on stage at the Jubilee. Be sure not to miss the fancy footwork. Again, just a quick LRT ride from Canterra.

This week is International Week at the U of A. A variety of lectures, exhibits, and films will be shown relating to living in an international world. This year's theme is Living Democracy: Citizen Power in a Global Age. Be sure to check out some of the event offerings, just one LRT stop away from Canterra Suites.
Earlier this week, in addition to Rearview Mirror exhibit, the AGA has launched Chris Millar: The Untimely Transmogrification of the Problem. This Alberta native will wow you with his visionary paintings and sculptures - a true feast for the eyes.

From January 22nd until the 26th, check out Fork Fest 2012! Local foodies are encouraged to try out a variety of local restaurants. Participating restaurantsthroughout the city will be offering special rates for multi-course meals.
On January 28th, the Art Gallery of Alberta will be kicking off a new exhibit. On display will be a collection of new art from Easter Europe. 22 artists representing 11 countries will be showing work in this exhibit entitles: Review Mirror!
Also, don't forget to check out Jazz n Skate, still going on till the end of February at Churchill Square.

Every Sunday at Churchill Square, the city will be hosting a swing and skate event. Live Jazz music will accompany skaters as the make their laps around the rink! While your down there, be sure to check out Metropolis - Edmonton's first winter festival!
